Cécile Kyenge, former Italian Minister for Integration and Member of the European Parliament, will introduce the debate, which will focus on actions to make Europe more open, inclusive and cohesive. Cécile Kyenge will present, in particular, her point of view on the means that Europe should implement to fight against the social and economic marginalisation of many of its residents and on the actions to be taken to remove economic and social barriers and to impose more social justice.
Cécile KYENGE’s presentation will be followed by a discussion with the participants.
The debate will take place on Thursday 31 May at 2.15pm in room 5 of the Palais de l’Europe. It will be held in English and French.
