Meet the Team


Anne BILLAUT

Anne is the director of the Lieu d’Europe. Tallinn, Estonia is her favorite city in Europe and Greek Moussaka her favorite European dish. Working in Strasbourg; her favorite part of the city is the Jardin des Deux Rives for it is “a mix of nature and of culture, located between France and Germany.” As a child she dreamed to grow up to become an opera singer. Anne looks forward to seeing you at the Lieu d’Europe!

BT

Antoine is the head reception agent and administrative assistant at the Lieu d’Europe. London, England is his favorite city in Europe (maybe because he lived and worked there for a time) and knacks is his favorite European meal. Working in Strasbourg; his favorite part of the city is the Krutenau district as “it is a lively district especially at the time of the aperitif.”

Elisa

Elisabeth is a reception agent and administrative assistant at the Lieu d’Europe. Rome, Italy is her favorite city in Europe and kaiserschmarrn from Austria her favorite European dish. Working in Strasbourg, her favorite part of the city is La Petite France. Elisabeth looks forward to welcoming you to the Lieu d’Europe!

Nathalie

Nathalie is a reception agent and administrative assistant at the Lieu d’Europe. Strasbourg, France is her favorite city in Europe and baked Camembert cheese and fried potatoes accompanied by fresh salad is her favorite European dish. Working in Strasbourg; her favorite aspect of the city is the Cathedral for it “majestically overlooks Strasbourg and it can be seen from everywhere.”

 

Vicky

Victoria is a full-time intern at the Lieu d’Europe. Barcelona, Spain is her favorite city in Europe and pizza her favorite European meal. Currently working in Strasbourg that which she appreciates the most about the city is its large variety of cultural offerings. Victoria looks forward to seeing you at the Lieu d’Europe!

Ioannis is an intern at the Lieu d’Europe from Athens, Greece. Rome, Italy is his favorite European city and his preferred European meal is fried eggplant with Tzatziki sauce, a Greek dish. Currently working in Strasbourg his favorite part about the city is the fact that it is the capital of a united Europe; “it is the symbol of the mixing of cultures.” As a child he dreamed of traveling around the world. Ioannis welcomes you to the Lieu d’Europe!

 

And those of us who have come and gone from the Lieu d’Europe…

François is an intern at the Lieu d’Europe. Budapest, Hungary is his favorite European city and his preferred European dish is cordon bleu. Currently a student at the Strasbourg Institute of Political Science in his favorite part of the city is the European district. As a child he dreamed of becoming a police officer or a tennis player. François worked at the Lieu d’Europe from January to March 2018.
