Mini conference about « The Hungarian memory of the Shoah since 1945 and the memorials »

On the basis of photos of Shoah memorials in Budapest Fabienne Regard approaches the history of the Shoah in Hungary, the personality of some emblematic figures like the one of Carl Lutz and Raoul Wallenberg just like the evolution of this memory since 1945.

Conference followed by a guided visit through the exhibition.

Fabienne Regard is historian, doctor of political science and teaches at the Elie Wiesel University at Paris. Expert at the Council of Europe between 2005 and 2012, she ensured the scientific coordination of the program “Transmission of the holocaust remembrance and prevention of crimes against Humanity: a transversal approach”.
