Raising awareness of the history of European integration and its close links with Strasbourg
Strasbourg, a city that symbolises the history of Europe and reconciliation, the second largest diplomatic city in France, a regional, Rhine and European capital, has long been a laboratory for the construction of democracy and the affirmation of Europe’s multicultural identity
The Lieu d’Europe is a municipal educational and cultural establishment that spearheads the promotion of Europe in Strasbourg. Its aim is to strengthen citizens’ sense of belonging to a geographical and political entity and to a community of values.
